Jumping into DW inspired me to try and get "more active in fandom", whatever hell that means. For me, apparently, subscribing to the fandomcalendar ... and then actually finding a couple things that sound vaguely interesting. I joined two comms! Watch me go!

Anyway, Thing One is fffc's June Special, summer bingo. Behold, my bingo card:

(A card, by the way, which I was kind of anxiously waiting for, only to find that I already got it and just didn't get any comment reply notification about. DW, what the hell, what did I do wrong this time?)

I was thinking fanart, because I really want to draw/paint actual pictures again - I've been struggling with even picking up a pencil lately and I haven't gone beyond sketching for months. Can't say the topics are ideal, but at this point nothing would be (or if it were, it would just be too intimidating).

The only tiiiny snag is that I'm not in any fandom to work for, but that's a different can of worms.

Thing Two is treatyoselfcomm, which I'm planning to sign up signed up for as a cheerleader. (the skinny: creators hoping to finish their shit are matched with people who will cheer them on). I don't have a good experience with Big Bangs, but this appeals to me because it's so laid back and doesn't require me to perform.

We'll see how this all goes.
